Women and the Law

Legal Consultation Clinics: Fort Garry Women’s Resource Centre will be offering FREE legal Consultations (up to 30 min) for women who have legal questions or concerns. Please call 477-1123 for more information and to book an appointment. Walk in appointments will not be available. Women who do not currently have a lawyer will be seen. Lawyers will provide legal information – not advice.

Upcoming Events / Groups at 1150A Waverley location

Introduction to Chakras: Thursday, September 16th 2010 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A workshop for women who are seeking balance, harmony and peace.
Space is limited - registration is required to this women only event by calling 477-1123.

Healing from Abuse Group: 8 sessions, Tuesday evenings 6:30-9:00 pm October 26th - December 14th 2010.This is a group for women who are coping with the impact of partner and/or childhood abuse. For more information or to register please call 477-1123 by October 15th, 2010. Limited Space. In-person intake with facilitator is required.
