Membership

Why be a member of Fort Garry Women's Resource Centre?

You don't need to be member to use FGWRC services, but membership does have its benefits including :Providng you advance notice on upcoming events, giving you an opportunity to be directly involved in the direction of the Centre, and helping you demonstrate your support for the Centre.

Active Membership is $20.00 per year (income adjustable)

An active member is a female adult who supports the Centre’s objectives and policy and who pays the required annual membership fee. This person is then entitled to make motions, nominations, vote, hold office, receive advance notice on information regarding the Centre and take books out of our library.

Associate Membership is $15.00 per year (income adjustable)

An associate member is a woman, man, young person under 18 years of age, or organization who supports the Centre’s objective and policy and who pays the associate membership fee. This person is then entitled to receive advance notice on information regarding the Centre.

The workshop will include information on how to use technology such as computers, cell phones and camera’s safely. It will also provide information on safe social networking, privacy protection and legal implications that may arise.
